Flow fixtures

Flow fixtures are those in which water flows when the fixture is turned on, and stops when the fixture is turned off.  Flow fixtures include showerheads, bathroom faucets and kitchen faucets.  While not technically appropriate, the term “low-flow” is commonly used in reference to flush fixtures (e.g. “low-flow toilets”) as well as flow fixtures.
